Life Trains

This is one I wrote on the computer, so I'm making use of the datestamp here - it was done in July 2004 :)

I'm grateful I no longer percieve life like as this poem presents it to be, but I see similar attitudes all time around me, which is a bit of a shame.

Life Trains - July 2004

Sitting on the train
Watch the world go past
You only catch a glimpse
Because its moving very fast

Stopping at the station
You realise where you are
Take a look around
You havn't really gone that far

People disembark
And others board anew
But this is not your stop
So you wait there with a view

Doors are closing now
Setting off again
Ever walking forward
Just moving with the train
